Is your cup empty or half Full? This session focuses on stress management. It is easy to short change ourselves. Multitasking is the operative word in the culture. Do more in less time with the same results is society’s Mantra. It is possible? Learn seven techniques and strategies to develop and maintain a positive perspective, to live in the present, and to develop and maintain a balance between school and home.
Ann Anzalone
Ann Anzalone is a nationally known, dynamic speaker and experienced trainer. For the last 25 years she has conducted workshops for K-12 teachers, administrators and parents, as well as for Business and corporations. She teaches graduate classes at Wright State University and McGregor School, Antioch University. She serves as a consultant for adult students, parents and their children regarding learning styles, educational plans and academic performance.

The president of NAIS examines the change dynamic in schools examining the strategic issues related to the teaching profession, why faculty and schools seem impervious to change, and new approaches to effecting and leading change by leaders. He will share various models of change agency, including those outlined by Dan Pink in The Science of Motivation, by Robert Kegan in Immunity to Change, by Chip and Dan Heath in Switch: How to change Things When Change is Hard, and in Why Change? What Works? The NAIS Guide to Change Management.

If learners were iPhones, and we were wizards who could “load” them with the really critical apps--or gifts--to inspire digital citizenship, information fluency, creativity, and collaboration, gifts they could take out into the world, how would we do it? Joyce and her students take us on a sing-along, musical exploration of those critical apps or gifts learners will need along the road. This presentation is a continually updated version of Joyce’s K12 Online Keynote.
