St. Joseph’s Academy is an all-girls, college-preparatory high school sponsored by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet. Since 1840, the Academy’s mission has been to provide quality Catholic education to young women in an environment that challenges them to grow in faith, knowledge, and respect for themselves and others through a blend of rigorous academics, exposure to the arts, competitive athletics, and a variety of service opportunities. St. Joseph’s Academy develops values-driven women leaders and expects them to make a profound impact on the world.

SJA was recognized by the United States Department of Education as a Blue Ribbon School of Excellence, thanks to a challenging curriculum featuring honors, college credit and Advanced Placement courses that prepare students for the rigors of college and beyond. Last year, 91% of graduates received a combined total of 492 scholarships. St. Joseph’s Academy has strong parent involvement, and a variety of organized sports and clubs that enhance student development – all of which are reflected in our school motto, “Not I, But We.” Nurturing intellect, talent and a passion for service, St. Joseph’s Academy shapes young women in profound ways.
