St. Joseph’s Academy is a Catholic, college preparatory high school sponsored by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet for the education of young women. The mission of the Academy is to provide excellence in Catholic education for young women in an environment that challenges them to grow in faith, knowledge, and respect for self and others. SJA is a rich tapestry of rigorous academics, individual achievement, artistic expression, state-of the-art technology and exceptional young women who serve others with their whole hearts. Our community expects these young women to make a profound impact in the world.

SJA was recognized by the United States Department of Education as a Blue Ribbon School of Excellence, thanks to a challenging curriculum featuring honors, college credit and Advanced Placement courses that prepare students for the rigors of college and beyond. Last year, 91% of graduates received a combined total of 492 scholarships. St. Joseph’s Academy has strong parent involvement, and a variety of organized sports and clubs that enhance student development – all of which are reflected in our school motto, “Not I, But We.” Nurturing intellect, talent and a passion for service, St. Joseph’s Academy shapes young women in profound ways.
