Nerinx Hall is a Catholic, college-preparatory high school for young women. Founded by the Sisters of Loretto, Nerinx believes that educated, caring, empowered young women are essential to our world. A demanding curriculum challenges students to understand their world; a Christian community nurtures the Spirit alive in each student.

Student leadership is fostered through an effective student government and student court, over thirty clubs including Model U.N., Academic Team, as well as twelve varsity sports. The arts are fostered by the presence of an aesthetics coordinator and in the Select Women’s Choir, the orchestra, the jazz band, art classes, and theatre productions. At this Loretto school, young women are called to deliberate Christian action in their world.

Summer Camps

  • Nerinx Hall Summer Fun 2015
    Monday, Jun 01, 2015 — Thursday, Jul 02, 2015

Are you looking for some fun summer activities?

Nerinx Hall offers a variety of academic, athletic, art, drama and enrichment choices for girls entering grades 1 through 8. Some of the camps for 2014 are: art, drama, athletics, Field Biology, and Robotics. Most of the offerings are one or two week sessions. Some of these are full days and some are half days that could be combined to match your personal interests.

The Athletic Camps are organized and coached by our Athletic Director and Nerinx Hall coaches. The goal of these camps is for girls to learn the fundamentals of a sport, receive positive instruction, have fun and form new friendships. Athletic camps include: Basketball, Cross Country, Field Hockey, Lacrosse, Soccer, Volleyball and our always popular Sampler Camp.

The Art Camp is run by our Art teachers and several senior art students and offers a variety of experiences including: drawing, painting, ceramics, pin-hole photography, fresco and silk-screening.

The Theatre Camps offer professional training from the Director of Insight Theatre and an award-winning actress. Students will develop expressive skills for performance.

The Field Biology camp and Robotics camp offer both outdoor and indoor activities including use of microscopes to explore pond life, construct collection nets, and how to build a robot programmed to follow basic commands.

Join us and find out what makes Nerinx Hall such an exciting place where learning is fun and active!
