    Ages 11 to 14 & 15 to 19; Limit 30 campers.

    Experienced SFSTL Teaching Artists conduct morning workshops in Shakespeare’s Language (meter, text, poetry), Voice & Movement, Production & Design (designing and creating sets and costumes), Audition Techniques, Shakespeare’s Life & Times, Period Dance & Stage Movement, Stage Combat, Physical Comedy, and Comedia Characters. In the afternoon you will work as an ensemble on two Shakespeare productions performed for family and friends in the final week. Special Guests will visit the camps, including actors, designers, and technicians from our mainstage production of Twelfth Night and distinguished guest teachers from local university acting programs.

  • Chess Camp at Crossroads College Prep
    Monday, Aug 04, 2014 — Friday, Aug 08, 2014

    Half-day chess camp from 8:30 until 12:30. Learn how to play chess for the first time, brush up on basic strategies, or master some new techniques. Students will be instructed by Howard Granok, coach of the Crossroads College Prep Chess Team that recently placed 2nd in Missouri and 3rd in the National Tournament. This camp is open to students of all ages.
    Cost: $150 per camper; includes a T shirt for those registered by July 5th. Pizza lunch will be provided for a nominal fee.
