Community School

Community School balances an academically challenging curriculum with a nurturing, supportive environment. Children at Community develop the joy of learning, belief in one’s self, and respect for others, all while cultivating a solid base of skills to prepare them for secondary school and beyond. The 7:1 student/teacher ratio increases the opportunity for the experienced and dedicated faculty to provide individualized attention for each child.

Specialty classes include art, woodworking, music, band, drama, physical education, French, and science. The sixteen-acre wooded campus includes a nature trail, butterfly garden, and pond, encouraging the exploration of nature through outdoor activities.
