SSAT Testing Schedule

 

Option A – National Test Administration

A student may sit for a test listed on these test dates more than once. Parents may register for National Tests by mail, fax, or online at www.ssat.org. SSAT does not allow walk-in registrations, though some sites allow standby registration, which enable families to register up to and including the morning of the exam (online only, additional fees applies, and testing is not guaranteed). All National Test sites allow for 30 extra minutes of testing time for approved students; Special Testing Application (A) applies; see www.ssat.org for details and instructions. All National Tests start at 9:00 AM. Check In begins at 8:30 AM.

Option B – Flex Test Administration

A student may sit for a test listed here only once during the SSAT testing year – August 1-July 31. Parents may register for Flex Tests online at www.ssat.org/flex. The registration deadline for a regional Flex Test date in St. Louis is two weeks prior to testing; no late or standby registration is available. All Flex Test sites allow for 30 extra minutes of testing time for approved students; Special Testing Application (A) applies. All Flex Tests starts at 9:00 AM.

* Special Accommodations Testing

This test is ONLY for students with a documented physical challenge or learning difference necessitating accommodations other than 30 minutes of additional time. Special accommodation testing is offered on Saturday, December 10, 2011 at Visitation Academy and Saturday, February 4, 2011 at Crossroads College Preparatory School. Detailed instructions for seeking special testing accommodations can be found at www.ssat.org.

Deadline: For these two test sites, Special Testing Application (B) must be received by SSAT two weeks prior to the test. Late or incomplete forms will be returned by US mail and may delay testing. Submit application materials as early as possible; not all requests may be approved for the date/site requested.
